Day 1 : Kolkata-Digha
Today you enter to the world of vacations as you begin your beautiful journey to West Bengal's most popular sea resort. Upon arrival at Kolkata airport or railway station you will be received by our office executive who will assist you to board the vehicle and proceed for Digha. After reaching Digha check in at hotel and have refreshment. Now you can enjoy the scenic beauty of this place that is charming and alluring. Enjoy the sunset reflecting the salty water of the Bay of Bengal. Enjoy dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 2 : Digha Shankarpur Local Excursion
Welcome to a romantic holiday beach on the Bay of Bengal! The chief tourist centre here is the Marine Aquarium and Research Centre that one of the most well equipped marine aquariums in India. Along with a plethora of commercial and crowded beaches you will have an opportunity to explore virgin beaches. Major tourist's attraction here is the Science Centre, Marine Aquarium, Talsheri Beach and Lankeshwari temple. Apart from these Lake Amrawati in New Digha offers you boating facilities.
Day 3 : Digha-Godhkhali-Sunderbans National Park
Today, you are going to explore the land of roar, trumpet and songs. After having lunch in the afternoon and transferred by a comfortable vehicle to the jetty Godkhali. Your drive takes through the lush green rural Bengal landscape, dotted with its picturesque villages and quaint market. The boat awaits you here. We take you down to Sajenkhali to see the Mangrove Interpretation Centre and return via the Sudhyanakhali watchtower. Overnight stay after dinner.
Day 4 : Excursions to Sunderbans National Park
After a breakfast at the camp, get set for a day full of spectacular natural beauty. Today, you have the exciting experience of the enormous wildlife and world largest mangrove forest. You can truly immerse yourself with stunning mangrove trees, sun-basking crocodiles, kingfishers whilst and formidable Bengal Tigers. We take you on a cruise down the rivers Hogol, Gomor, Durgaduani, Bidya and Gumdi. We further take you to the furthest point - Netidhopani where you can see old-age excavation and view game from the watchtower. Swimming of tigers can be spotted from this region. You can watch local villagers conducting their everyday chores-fishing, boat making and weaving. Return to the camp in evening, overnight stay at the camp. Next morning you will be transferred to Kolkata. Fly to the next destination.
Day 5 : Transfer to Kolkata
Next morning, we will resume our cruise all along the waterways and you will be taken to the Chargheri Char, the village of 24 Parganas in the southern part. Carry your Bermudas as the tempting waters of the Sunderbans tempt you to take a dip .You may also come across aquatic animals like Octopus, Jelly Fish, Star Fish, Horseshoe Crab, prawn seeds and numerous others. After lunch at around 12 you will depart for Godhkhali and transferred to Kolkata. The tour ends with beautiful memories of your holiday excursion.
