Day 1 : Arrival at Kolkata Airport or Railway Station
Welcome to Kolkata!! Today you begin your memorable journey through the city with a lot of culture, character and history. On arrival at the Kolkata airport you will be met by our office executive who will assist you to board the taxi, proceed to your hotel and check in. Tonight, stay at hotel.
Day 2 : Kolkata to Sunderbans National Park
After breakfast at the hotel, check out and drive to the mysterious Sunderbans National Park. The 03 hours of journey takes you through the lush green rural Bengal landscape, dotted with its wonderful villages and small market places. The river boat is waiting for you to explore the world largest mangrove forest. Reach Godhkhali jetty to board a cruise to UNESCO world heritage. You cruise down the rivers with a sip of tea or coffee and explore mysteries of this earthy heaven. Lunch will be served to you on the boat. Now you have reached Sajnekhali to see the Mangrove interpretation Centre. Experience the pleasant hours in the jungle & in the evening you retire for the night after dinner, overnight stay.
Day 3 : Excursion to Sunderbans National Park
After a breakfast at the hotel, today we take you on a full day cruise. We head towards the Dobanki where you can experience an exhilarating canopy walk in the dense forest. If you are lucky you can view the famous Royal Bengal Tigers swimming at the bank of rivers. Now you are enjoying the first wonder of West Bengal. The local resident who is your naturalist guide explains many mysteries of the Park. Return late in the evening after experiencing the spectacular sunset. You can see famous traditional Bengali opera performed by the villagers. Overnight stay at the Sunderbans National Park.
Day 4 : Sunderbans to Kolkata
This day we take you on a tour to look for kingfishers and more wildlife and possibly, The Royal Bengal Tiger. Today you are going to experience a short cruise in the boat along the narrow canals that completes the Sunderbans tour. After taking lunch we fly to the next destination. Upon arrival at Kolkata check in hotel, overnight stay in Kolkata.
Day 5 : Kolkata to Shanti Niketan
After breakfast around 8:00 AM at the hotel, we will depart for the Shanti Niketan by car. It will take three to four hours to reach there. Welcome to the world of literature where Rabindra Nath penned many of his literary classics. The place is known for its peace and perfect harmony of nature and humanity. Enjoy rest of the day at leisure, overnight stay at Shanti Nikeatan.
Day 6 : Shanti Niketan Sightseeing
This day is dedicated to a heavenly abode of peace where nature bestows her splendor through lavish greenery. After breakfast at the hotel, many things await to be explored by you at Shanti Niketan. Upasna Griha: A unique prayer hall made of several colored Belgium glasses with marble steps by Tagore's father in 1863. It wears a magnificent look in the flickering light of candle. Apart from this you can pay visit to Sangeet Bhawan, Kala Bhawan, China Bhawan and Dehali and many more that you like to bask in the glory essence of Bengal's creativity and intellectualisms. Do not forget to visit Vishwa Bharti university campus. Overnight stay at Shanti Nikeatan.
Day 7 : Shanti Niketan to Kolkata
After breakfast at the hotel, we transfer you back to Kolkata. On arrival at Kolkata check in and recall the literary vision of the Rabindranath Tagore, if you love literature. Otherwise explore the streets of Kolkata.
Day 8 : Kolkata City Tour
Leaving behind the magic of Shanti Niketan, today you roam to Kolkata, a historical city with a lot of tradition, culture, character and heritage. Experience the sights and sounds of the quaint 'city of joy'. You may pay visit to sacred Dakshineswar Temple, , Belur Math, St. Pauls Cathedral Church, Birla Temple, Howrah Bridge, Eden Garden Stadium, Victoria Memorial Hall and many more historical monuments. Tonight, stay in Kolkata.
Day 9 : Hotel to Kolkata Airport/Railway Station
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to the airport/railway station for your flight/train back to home. Return with wonderful memories of your vacation.
